Commercial design and build
An employee hub for a commercial design-build firm
A consolidated portal accessed through a single sign-on, comprising an AI assistant, time tracking and day planning, KPI scorecards with approvals, document libraries, an employee toolbox and an administration layer.
- The situation
- A commercial design-build firm had its team working across a number of separate applications for time, planning, documents and reporting. None shared a single sign-on or a common source of truth, and managers requested updates rather than viewing them directly.
- What was built
- A single portal through which the team carries out its work. It includes an AI assistant, time tracking and day planning, KPI scorecards with an approval and check-in workflow, a document and template library, an employee toolbox, and a role-restricted administration layer for those who manage the firm.
- The outcome
- A single environment in place of numerous separate applications. KPI check-ins and approvals are completed within the system rather than over email, and the administration layer allows the firm to manage access and content without development support.
